Pixar is more cherished for its smart storylines, their inventiveness is accentuated by the elegant graphic worlds and the eminent voice talents.
The beautifully brainy ‘Inside Out’ was their summer gift of 2015. And they take us back to gentle Jurassic period in this winter with the cutest dino, ‘Arlo’ and her cave-man friend, ‘Spot’.
‘The Good Dinosaur‘ presents what would’ve happened if the asteroid missed Earth and dinosaurs never went extinct. The work done to bring this world to life is pretty good & mildly amused by its characters, but I just wish this film had more going for it.
This is a kind of film that just exists and has less to express. Visuals are truly admirable, but the ideas are not as thoroughly transfixed as other previous efforts.
Terrific photorealistic scenery aside, ‘The Good Dinosaur‘ is sadly an average attempt on the fascinating concept. It’s one of the few times in a Pixar film where I really didn’t care about what was happening, but it’s not as worse as their ‘Cars 2‘. A decent watch.
Anyways, let’s wait with open fins for the upcoming Pixar product, ‘Finding Dory’ – The sequel of the adorable ‘Finding Nemo’
My Rating : 3/5
