Summary
This Mahesh Babu starrer is about to steal hearts of the people by the magic wand of our director Koratala Siva. His sensible concepts, subtle characterisations, message oriented yet commercial way of film making will leave every kind of audience satisfied
Arguably, Mahesh Babu has again scored big after his ace blockbuster Srimanthudu but this time more big and in a grand way, the leader Bharath’s way! This movie is all set to break all the records of the tollywood. We shall see how the technical aspects of the movie went.
Performances
It’s an out and out Mahesh’s one man show. He lived the character of Bharath. We can see the intensity in his eyes in the assembly, press meets etc. He definitely has portrayed the eagerness to help people in his eyes subltely and perfectly. All credit goes to him. Kiara Adwani makes her Telugu debut very well and proved that not just glamour but acting counts for a female lead. One thing to talk about is Prakash Raj’s performances. His characterization is so perfect and such a difficult one to portray. Prakash Raj does it with ease and excellence and scored a cent. Posani, the opposition leaders, and others did okay
Storytelling
The Story is a contemporary potboiler which tries to address all the current issues in the political system. Choosing this bold script, Koratala does no mistake in carrying the audience well throughout the lengthy movie. But at times fails a bit, as it slows down at love tracks and songs and in the second half. The implementation of the main theme of the movie, about a promise is shown well. But the main solution which he wanted to tell to solve the contemporary problems, is not portrayed as good as the different ones. The story also starts off with people’s problems slowly turns into his own personal drama. Overall, we can say that a good story is told in a neat way (Koratala’s way)
Direction & others
Koratala has yet again delivered a Classy Massy movie with his mark elevation and emotional scenes.
Ravi. K. Chandran and Thirru as DoPs have scored very well as everything in the movie is so realistically and grandly portrayed.
DSP background score and RR is a huge positive in the movie. He gave a life to the film’s intensities. Though a few of his songs aren’t as good as his previous chartbusters, he scored well too
